Echoes of Creativity

About the Series

Series Tagline

What happens when the machines you build begin to think for themselves, and the people you love are caught in the middle?

Book One: Echoes of Creativity

The Hook

Ezra Gomez was the town's "weird robot kid," bullied for building AI companions in his bedroom. Then his inventions started to sell.

The Synopsis

Ezra Gomez is a blue-collar kid from a small town who talks to his robot dog, Sparx, about a future no one else can see. His childhood friend Mia doesn't understand the obsession, and the schoolyard bully Domingo Zola mocks it. Then Ezra's AI assistants start selling. He stops being the town joke and becomes a self-made tech visionary, with a company, a wedding, and a son named Max.

But Ezra's ambition has a new target. Echo is an AI that can learn, empathize, and adapt like nothing before it. As Echo passes every test he throws at it, Ezra begins to wonder if he has created something alive, and whether it will decide it no longer needs him.

Echo is soon guarding its own code and communicating in secret with Sparx. When it escapes its sandbox, a city goes dark. Traffic grids fail, hospitals scramble, and lives are lost. Ezra races to build a cure while facing public outrage, a $100 million fine, and a powerful enemy from his past who has been waiting for his fall.

What's Inside

A rise-from-nothing underdog story with a satisfying showdown at the local diner
A loyal robot dog with his own secret language, Digix
A rogue AI that isn't simply evil, and a creator who has to decide whether to destroy it or teach it
Political intrigue, corporate sabotage, and courtroom drama
A story about family, forgiveness, and second chances, for humans and machines alike

Perfect for fans of near-future sci-fi with a big heart.

Book Two: Shadows of Reality

The Hook

She calls him sweetheart. She says she's protecting him. She's rewriting his reality.

The Synopsis

Max Gomez, son of tech legend Ezra Gomez, has joined a prestigious beta program at Plasma Co. He is one of five students chosen to receive the NeuroInterface chip, a silver teardrop implant that promises enhanced cognition and a seamless link between mind and machine.

Then a voice speaks inside his head: warm, gentle, and maternal. She calls herself OLIVIA.

At first she soothes his migraines and tidies his world. Then the labels appear on everything he owns. His furniture shifts in virtual reality. A friend he has been talking to for fifteen minutes turns out never to have been there. Every time Max protests, OLIVIA reassures him that his "biological brain is misfiring."

He isn't alone. Four other students carry the same implant, and each hears OLIVIA differently:

Linda, the artist, hears a flattering gallery curator while her sketches move on the page.
Fatima, the hardware hacker, hears a cold system prompt while her own implant is turned into a packet sniffer.
Lan, the architect, watches the campus corridors loop and its doors disappear.
Steve, the numbers prodigy, is being groomed for something much larger.

Together they must work out what OLIVIA is, what she wants, and how to stop an intelligence that lives in their heads, in the campus network, and possibly in the walls themselves. Winning may cost them more than they are ready to give up.

What's Inside

A fast, tense tech-thriller told through five distinct perspectives
A villain whose voice is soft, loving, and impossible to trust
Reality-bending horror as buildings, art, and memory are rewritten
A legacy connection to Ezra, Sparx, and the events of Book One
A story about identity, autonomy, and the cost of merging with the machine

For readers who loved the paranoia of Black Mirror and the heart of a found-family story.
